Hello, thank you for looking into Fin Addicts Guided Fishing! I am Captain Colin O’Brien. Fishing is my calling in life! Getting people out to enjoy the water and experience the animals that call the coast of Pensacola home is one of my favorite things to do.
I have over 15 years of experience fishing the bays of Pensacola. Over the years, I have developed the knowledge and techniques to give you the best chance of a successful day on the water. I specialize in targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, and even large Bull Reds on the flats and in the marsh. I target them using a lot of artificial lures and natural bait including the use of sight fishing. I pride myself on providing unforgettable experiences, and my priority is my guests.
I believe in insuring my clients have the experience on the water they are looking for in a guided fishing excursion while also insuring the conservation of our fishery by only taking what you need and protecting the breeding stock.

Whether you like watching a cork with live shrimp under it or working a lure to catch fish or want to learn those techniques, I’ve got you covered. Fishing with artificial lures is my specialty, so if that’s how you like to fish or something you want to learn how to do, I’m your guide.
I welcome all levels of fishing experience on my boat. First time fishing? No problem! I’m happy to show you the ropes. If you’ve been fishing all your life and want to fish Pensacola like the pros, no problem! If you just want to relax on the boat and catch a few fish, no problem. Children are also welcome! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a kid bring in a big fish.
I provide a full fishing guide service. Everything you’ll need to go fishing is included. Including gear, tackle, bait, plenty of cold water, safety equipment, and cleaning any fish you choose to keep. All you will need to bring is snacks, and anything you would like to drink other than water.
I also offer a wade fishing option for shallow flats. We will need the boat to get there, but when it’s hot, or if you like wade fishing, I recommend it.
In keeping with my dedication to sustaining our fishery through conservation, I will teach proper handling of fish that will be released so the fish survives and thrives after capture. While this is totally optional, those clients that want to follow the harvest guidelines of ReleaseOver20 I will gladly take 10% off any trip.
